On 12/05/2025 at around 12:00 our control room received multiple reports and panic signal from Riverwalk mall about an armed robbery at a Jewelry store inside the mall. According to witnesses at least four suspects, armed with handguns, was involved. The suspects fled, with an undisclosed amount of jewelry and cash. The abandoned getaway vehicle was later discovered, by the SAPS, in Piet Bosman Street. A second vehicle was identified. The case is still being investigated.
Action Taken:
- Reaction and medical response were dispatched and attended the scene.
- SAPS Took over the scene and are busy with the investigation.
- One of the vehicles used was recovered.
