In the early hours of 30 May 2025, at approximately 01:09, one of our static guards on the Bult received a report of a pickpocketing incident inside a shop on the Bult.
Upon reviewing CCTV footage, our team identified two suspects, and a Volkswagen Polo believed to be involved. Shortly after, our CCTV operators located the suspect vehicle and relayed its position to our reaction units.
Following a brief pursuit, the vehicle was intercepted, and both suspects were arrested. The victim positively identified the suspects, who were found in possession of the stolen phone.
Action Taken:
- Responding units intercepted the suspect vehicle.
- Recovered the stolen phone
- SAPS Took over the scene, arrested the two suspects.
